ISS STOXX' Global Treasury group is seeking a Treasury Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Global Treasury in Brussels, the Treasury Accountant will partner closely with Finance leadership across all of our regions to maintain appropriate cash positions and fund the Company’s working capital needs. The Treasury Accountant will perform daily cash management activities and be the primary person responsible for interacting with our banking partners.
This role requires a high energy, motivated professional looking to get exposure to the different parts of our global business.
Responsibilities:
Reconcile current day cash position for bank accounts.
Maintain global daily cash position reports and weekly cash summary reports.
Forecast short-term and long-term cash-flows.
Administrator of our bank accounts for our online platforms.
Maintain the proper signatory and KYC documentation requirements of our banking partners.
Maintain global bank account list for accuracy including account signors and approvers.
Analyze bank fees and identify cost saving opportunities.
Recommend and implement process efficiencies and improvements.
Other special projects as needed.
Supervising the junior team based in Manilla
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 - 5 years’ relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar study are or equivalent experience required.
Good analytical skills; ability to challenge the numbers.
Extremely organized, detail oriented and hard working. A roll up your sleeves attitude.
Ability to juggle multiple projects at once and work under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Good communication skills.
Excellent Excel skills required.
Prior experience with a treasury role and banking platforms a plus.
SAP experience is a plus
Rockville, MD: Located within one mile of the Shady Grove Red Line metro station, with free shuttle service between the metro and office, ample free parking and an onsite gym.
Compensation: The Rockville, MD expected base pay range is $75,000- $90,000 per year. Additionally, the role is bonus eligible.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and level of education.
