- Chick-Fil-A: Monday - Thursday 12:30 PM - 8:30 PM
- Chick-Fil-A: Friday 11:00 AM - 7:15 PM
What You Will Do- Perform routine and repetitive kitchen tasks such as food preparations prior to cooking or serving raw food; compile and prepare ingredients prior to cooking; sets table, serves food and cleans-up food service equipment and areas
- Work under direct supervision from a designated supervisor
- Prepare or assist in the preparation of food items, including such tasks as cleaning, dicing, and peeling vegetables, and weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients
- Perform simple cooking, grilling, and food preparation, such as boiling eggs, making toast, and making coffee; preparing/cooking short order items such as hot cereals, eggs, sausage, bacon, etc.; grilling, such as for hamburgers, hot dogs, or chicken; and assisting in mixing, kneading, panning, and baking bread/pastries
- Clean and sanitize work areas, counters, tables, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Acceptable QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.
Six (6) months of work experience in food preparation in a commercial setting.
As required by the position to be filled, possession of the Illinois Department of Public Health, Food Handler Training Certification (from an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited trainer).
The Ideal Candidate Will HaveKnowledge of materials and methods used to prepare food on a large scale, use and care of relevant utensils and equipment and food values and nutrition.
Knowledge of sanitary procedures and directives; how to use simple cleaning solutions and equipment
Knowledge of basic arithmetic operations and their applications
Knowledge of quality control analysis, such as conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance
Skill in giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made
Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
Skill in developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work
Ability to read and interpret relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards
Ability to plan meals on a large scale
Ability to work with and supervise other kitchen employees
