Transport Clerk - Military veterans preferred

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday rotational 6am - 2pm and 12pm - 8pm
Location: Manchester, M17 1TD

We're now looking for a Transport Clerk to support the smooth running of our transport operations by managing documentation, coordinating schedules, and ensuring compliance processes are followed.

?A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Preparing driver paperwork and carrying out driver briefs and de-briefs
• Communicate with drivers regarding rota's, routes and any issues arising throughout the shift
• Ensuring that all transport admin duties are carried our such as filing
• Supporting the Transport team with any other tasks as and when required

?THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Previous experience working in administration is essential within a Transport Office is desirable
• Strong administration experience
• Excellent IT skills - prior use of Microsoft Office, Microlise or Tachomaster is advantageous
• Good communication skills - both written and verbal
