Purpose:
The IT Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer supports the IT Infrastructure & Security Leader in delivering scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure solutions across the enterprise. This role is primarily focused on executing infrastructure projects and initiatives, with a minor responsibility for ticket escalation support. Core competencies include Azure, Microsoft 365, and networking technologies.

Job Functions/Accountabilities:
Executes infrastructure projects aligned with business and IT strategic goals, with emphasis on Azure cloud services, Microsoft 365 administration, and enterprise networking.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support the design and implement secure, high-performance solutions.
Provides Tier 3 escalation support for complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
Maintains and optimizes cloud environments, including identity management, hypervisors, Azure services, endpoint configuration, and network performance.
Assists in the development and enforcement of IT security protocols and compliance standards.
Participates in capacity planning, system upgrades, and performance tuning.
Documents technical procedures and project outcomes to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
Continuously evaluates emerging technologies and recommends improvements to enhance infrastructure reliability and efficiency.
Adheres to organizational quality systems and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned by the IT Infrastructure & Security Leader.

Qualifications:
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.Â
Certifications in Azure, Microsoft 365, and networking (e.g., Cisco, CompTIA Network+) are strongly preferred.
 Experience:
5+ years of experience in IT engineering or infrastructure roles, with hands-on expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, and enterprise networking.
3+ years in executing complex cloud- and infrastructure projects independently

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
