Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of a wide range of events for Straumann Group North America and will be expected to create and drive cross-functional teams across departments to effectively meet or exceed expectations regarding content, theme, messaging, communications, logistics, staffing, and budget. This role is fast paced and requires a collaborative, agile and curious mindset. This position will report into the Sr Education Manager.
This position is hybrid with 3 days in our Andover, MA corporate office.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Strong Event Management & Execution
• Lead end-to-end event planning for mid-to large-scale national education events (50=250 participants), Congresses, Symposia (100-1,000 participants), while supporting select local programs as needed.
• Lead event project timelines, task assignments, and deliverables across internal teams and external partners.
• Develop event budgets, including forecasting, reconciliation and vendor negotiations to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee all event logistics, including registration platform and event webpage setup, venue selection, contract negotiation, AV setup, food & beverage arrangements, and speaker coordination, event budgets, and coordination of event materials.
• Maintain compliance with Continuing Education (CE) accreditation standards (AGD, ADA, etc.).
• Ensure programs align with organizational goals and KPIs by working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Education teams.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies, including email campaigns, social media promotions, website advertising, and direct attendee outreach in collaboration with the Sales team.
• Manage vendor and faculty relationships, ensuring top-tier speaker engagement and program quality.
• Lead event execution on the day of the event, troubleshooting in real time to ensure smooth operations.
• Support development of event support team on the day of the event
• Travel over nights/weekends up to 20%
2. Data, Reporting and Continuous Improvement
• Conduct comprehensive post-event evaluations to assess attendee experience, ROI, and program effectiveness.
• Track event performance metrics, including attendance, engagement, budget reconciliation, and revenue recognition.
• Develop and present detailed reports on event success, key insights, and recommendations for improvement.
• Utilize CRM and event management platforms (SAP, Cvent, and MS Office) to maintain accurate event records and attendee data.
• Lead post event analysis learnings and recommendations for continuous improvement, and present insights to Education and Marketing leadership
3. Leadership & Team Collaboration
• Mentor and coach Education Planner team members, providing guidance on event execution and best practices.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Senior Leadership to align event strategies with company goals.
• Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
• Proactively identify efficiency improvements and best practices in event planning and logistics.
• Take ownership of special projects as assigned by the Manager or Director.
Physical Attributes:
• May sit for extended periods of time.
• Utilize dexterity abilities to perform typing, operate a computer and other office equipment, to perform filing, and related job responsibilities and attention to detail competence.
• Moderate lifting (30 lbs and under)
Work Environment:
• General office environment.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field
• 7+ years in meeting management, event sales experience, tradeshow or event management role, managing both large-scale and smaller scale meetings

• CMP Preferred
Salary: $75,000 - $80,000/Annually. The final pay for this position will vary based on geographic location and candidate experience relative to what the company reasonably anticipates for this position.
