Responsibilities

As a Survey CAD Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality land surveying projects by supporting both field and office teams. Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll use advanced technology and SAM standards to process field data, generate accurate deliverables, and ensure project success. Your attention to detail and collaboration will directly contribute to client satisfaction and overall project efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and evaluate field data using SAM standards to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with survey principles
  • Monitor field crew progress and data quality to support timely and successful project delivery
  • Perform initial QA/QC reviews of field deliverables to ensure alignment with best practices and client expectations
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and supervisors to meet client-specific requirements and deliverables


Qualifications



  • Strong desire to learn -little to no experience required; on-the-job training provided
  • Strong computer and technical skills; AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit or similar application is a plus
  • Proficiency in technical math; Geometry and Trigonometry are a plus
