Located in Greater Boston, MassBayis a comprehensive, open-access community college, offering associate degreesand certificate programs on three campuses in Wellesley Hills, Framingham, andAshland, Massachusetts.
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will join a vibrant educational community, andhave a desire and ability to serve a population of students with various needsand backgrounds.
The Computer Science (CS) lab manager is responsible for theday-to-day operations of computer laboratories, which includes installation, setup, configuration,troubleshooting, maintaining and overall management of softwareapplications, computer and networking equipment, peripherals, etc. The scope ofwork also includes working closely with MassBay’s Office of InformationTechnology (OIT), implementing the laboratory's policies and regulations, andsupporting multiple OS platforms.
In this role, inaddition to managing CS labs, the individual is responsible for managing theNETLAB and cybersecurity ecosystem including the CS department’s own CyberRange environment. The position requires working directly with CS faculty,students, and OIT, ensuring the system is configured tosupport the needs of the CS and Cybersecurity programs, including the planning,design, configuration/operations, analysis, acquisition, development,implementation, quality assurance, and management of the systems. The CS labmanager will plan and lead the events and develop policies and proceduresgoverning the CS and Cybersecurity laboratories.

Additional Information:
Salary Range: $70,929 -$79,319, in accordance with one'seducation and experience as dictated by the collective bargaining agreementclassification compensation structure.
