About the Role:

The Sales Engineer will serve as a critical link between our technical construction teams and prospective clients, ensuring that complex project requirements are clearly understood and effectively communicated. This role focuses on leveraging deep industry knowledge to provide tailored solutions that meet client needs while aligning with company capabilities and sustainability goals. The successful candidate will drive business growth by identifying opportunities, presenting value-engineered proposals, and negotiating contracts that maximize profitability and client satisfaction. They will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and key accounts to ensure seamless project planning and execution from initial contact through project completion. Ultimately, the Sales Engineer will contribute to the company’s reputation as a leader in innovative, green building solutions within the construction industry.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in construction project management and sales engineering within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and project planning software.
  • Strong knowledge of contract negotiation and key account management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of value engineering principles and green building standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as PMP, LEED Accredited Professional, or similar credentials.
  • Experience with renovation projects and sustainable construction practices.
  • Advanced skills in client relationship management and strategic sales planning.
  • Familiarity with emerging construction technologies and software tools.
  • Multilingual abilities to support diverse client bases.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with potential and existing clients to understand their construction project requirements and objectives.
  • Develop and present customized technical proposals and value-engineered solutions that align with client goals and company capabilities.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and project planning tools to assist in the visualization and communication of project designs and timelines.
  • Manage key accounts by maintaining strong relationships, addressing client concerns, and identifying opportunities for renovation and new construction projects.
  • Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms while ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including civil engineers and project managers to ensure accurate project scope and successful delivery.
  • Stay informed on green building practices and integrate sustainable solutions into client proposals and project plans.
