Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will provide architectural guidance, advanced engineering solutions, and senior-level technical support for our network infrastructure. You’ll lead initiatives across LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Azure Networking, and Data Center connectivity, while mentoring engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and deploy LAN/WAN/WLAN solutions across corporate and manufacturing environments.
  • Design, test, and implement network configurations for new sites and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain network standards, topology documentation, and performance/capacity plans.
  • Serve as a tier-3 escalation point for complex network incidents and lead root cause analysis.
  • Mentor Network Engineers and model professional conduct in daily interactions.
  • Implement and audit firewall rules in alignment with security and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with IT Security and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Manage relationships with MSPs, vendors, and partners for both projects and KTLO tasks.
  • Lead multiple concurrent projects, balancing priorities and timelines effectively.
  • Support M&A activities through integration and connectivity solutions.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in network engineering, including 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
  • Proven experience with Cisco IOS, Meraki, Palo Alto (NGFW, Prisma, SD-WAN), Aruba (switches, APs, ClearPass), Azure Networking, and F5 load balancers.
  • Demonstrated ability to design scalable, fault-tolerant network architectures with performance optimization and disaster recovery planning.
  • Experience mentoring team members and managing external vendors and MSPs.
  • Successful implementations of LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi solutions.
  • Experience with OT networks and manufacturing equipment is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong RF / Wi-Fi troubleshooting tools (example: Hamina or Ekahau)
  • Effective communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives.
  • Vendor management with negotiation and influence capabilities.
  • Certifications: CCNA or ACSA required; CCNP, CCIE, ACSP, or ACDA preferred.
