From components to fully integrated equipment, we provide purpose-built solutions that integrate seamlessly into larger facility design-build, expansion, and retrofit projects.


The Specialty Equipment segment includes Anderson Dahlen, located in Ramsey, MN and Waconia, MN. Anderson Dahlen specializes in stainless steel and specialty alloy fabrication and is ISO 9001:2015 certified, as well as ASME, AWS, and PED compliant. 


The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; as well as other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is $24 to $33 hourly/annually. Hours of position are 6 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday.


PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:

An Assembler II is responsible for assembling parts with electrical, mechanical, and manual tools in a manner which will consistently meet production standards and quality requirements.


MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Uses a wide variety of mechanical/manual tools and operating procedures to assemble large and small parts.
  • Performs required assembly operations including adjusting, fitting, and aligning units/unit components to close tolerances and strict inspection standards.
  • Continually monitors work quality and productivity throughout assigned area. Reports problems to Assembly Manager or Team Lead as appropriate.
  • Performs deburring as requested.
  • Ability to use and read a voltmeter.
  • Maintains records of processes and procedures used in the assembly of equipment. Records to include written and photographic documents.
  • Visual inspection and part checks against blueprints to ensure they are properly assembled.
  • Read and understand blueprints/schematics to ensure products are properly assembled to customer specification.  
  • Works safely and complies with all established safety rules and work practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY:

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of related assembly experience on various types of equipment or machinery, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assemblies.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments.
  • Good manual dexterity skills, hand-eye coordination, etc.
  • Ability to maintain a high concentration level while doing repetitive work.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle and lift varying weights up to 50 lbs. consecutively.
  • Ability to work independently or with others.
  • Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates initiative.
