Respiratory Therapist - Military veterans preferred

Bestica is seeking Respiratory Therapist’s to provide services at the VA San Diego Healthcare System on San Deigo, CA in the Pulmonary Dept and Sleep Medicine department.

HOURS OF OPERATION:

Pulmonary Respiratory Therapists will be expected to be available 24/7, including holidays. The normal tour of duty is a 10-hour day and 40 hours per week.

Sleep Medicine Respiratory Therapists will be expected to be available Monday through Friday. The normal tour of duty is an 8-hour day and 40 hours per week from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

• Education: Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy (RT) Program
• Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• State Licensure required: Respiratory Care Board of California
• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience, including critical care (if working in Pulmonary)
• BLS - American Heart Association
• ACLS – American Heart Association
