• Support Water Resources engineering initiatives through field investigations of stormwater and wastewater collection systems.
• Conduct inspections of utility infrastructure including pipes, manholes, ponds, and detention basins.
• Operate pipe inspection crawlers and remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) to assess the condition of stormwater and wastewater pipelines.
• Install, maintain, and operate flow meters to monitor stormwater and wastewater flow rates.
• This opportunity is open to candidates residing in the following areas: St Paul, MN and surrounding area

Essential Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Self-starter and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to regularly lift 50lbs without special assistance.
• Ability to work outdoors, with occasional work in light rain/snow/cold temperatures
• Ability to clearly communicate with coworkers and the public.
• Ability to work as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (NASSCO)
• OSHA 10 Construction Safety Training
• Confined Space Safety Training
• HAZWOPER 40-hour Safety Training

This position requires an MVR records check verifying that you possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record which meets the requirements of SEH’s Driving Program.
