Description:


MetalTek – Wisconsin Investcast is seeking an experienced Level II or Level III Radiographic Inspector to join our Nadcap-accredited Radiography team. This is a key role supporting the growing demand for our advanced investment castings and additively manufactured metal components. Our products serve high-performance industries such as aerospace, energy, and defense, where quality and precision are critical.


We welcome candidates who are currently certified at Level III or experienced Level II professionals looking to advance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and implement customer and industry NDT requirements.
  • Develop, review, and approve radiographic techniques and procedures.
  • Perform and oversee radiographic inspections, including: 
    • Technique selection
    • Material positioning
    • Film/DDA exposure and development
    • Digital image processing
  • Analyze radiographic results to determine part compliance with codes, standards, and customer specifications.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
  • Support and participate in Nadcap accreditation activities.
  • Collaborate with Level I/II technicians, production, engineering, and management to ensure throughput and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain radiographic equipment and inspection areas.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in radiography and other NDT disciplines.
  • Provide training and oversight to trainees and Level I/II technicians, administer examinations, and perform technical      performance reviews.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to technical and leadership development within the NDT group. 
Requirements:


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required, post-secondary education in NDT or a technical field preferred.
  • Certification or certifiable to RT Level II per SNT-TC-1A, NAS-410, and NAVSEA Tech Pub. 010/271. 
  • Level III certification or interest in becoming certified is desirable.
  • Experience in radiographic interpretation of metal castings and welds.
  • Familiarity with Computed Radiography (CR) and Digital Detector Array (DDA/DR) systems is a plus.
  • Cross-discipline NDT experience (e.g., FPI, MPI) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and ability to work independently or lead others.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
