Overview

The President of Cardio Partners is a key member of the Sarnova senior leadership team, responsible for the strategic direction, financial performance, and transformative growth of the business unit.

Cardio Partners, a division of Sarnova, is a market leader in emergency preparedness, providing a comprehensive range of health and safety products and services to help organizations and communities be prepared to engage and save a life. We specialize in AEDs, CPR and integrated software and services. The company leverages diverse sales channels including Digital, eCommerce, and National Accounts serving Fortune 1000 clients and partnering with organizations like the American Red Cross and American Heart Association. Cardio Partners is poised for transformative growth through innovative product launches and emerging technology.

This is an on-site position in Dublin, Ohio. M-TH office based, Fridays remote


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate a clear vision and growth roadmap for Cardio Partners.
  • Own full P&L responsibility for a growing portfolio, ensuring financial targets are met across all sales channels.
  • Develop and execute the annual operating plan (AOP), collaborating across multiple cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
  • Lead the launch of new products and technology solutions, including software-integrated CPR and AED offerings.
  • Drive commercial success by leading the sales organization to achieve revenue targets and optimize market share through innovative sales strategies and performance-driven leadership.
  • Oversee daily operations with a focus on efficiency, quality, and responsiveness to customer needs.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, vendors, and industry organizations.
  • Identify and pursue strategic M&A opportunities to accelerate growth and expand capabilities.
  • Monitor and adapt to market dynamics, competitive actions, and emerging trends.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent, building and mentoring a high-performing, inclusive team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement aligned with Sarnova’s values and mission.
  • Provide progress updates to the Board of Directors and Sarnova’s Senior Leadership Team.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in sales leadership, general management, or business development, with full P&L responsibility for a $100M+ revenue business.
  • Proven track record driving profitable market share growth within the healthcare industry, B2B, B2C, with emphasis on C-level, digital and eCommerce sales channels.
  • Experience acquiring and integrating businesses.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain high-performing functional teams and leadership hierarchies.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to manage both long-term planning and day-to-day operations.
  • Exceptional financial, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adaptable to various audiences and situations.
  • Established relationships and ability to leverage C-level contacts in the business community and key organizations.
  • Innovation mindset, with success in launching new products or technologies aligned with market needs.
