Job Description
As a VIE Supply Chain Business Analyst, you will support the Supplier Performance Management (SPM) team in optimizing supplier performance and strengthening purchasing operations across SEP North America. This role combines data analysis, process improvement, and supplier relationship management within a dynamic international environment.
The VIE role supports the Supplier Performance Management (SPM) team by delivering accurate, data-driven insights that enhance supplier performance and purchasing operations across SEP North America. This role is responsible for supplier KPI tracking, Power BI report development, and Approved Supplier List (ASL) management. The analyst will support audit readiness, monitor supplier risk, and analyze large datasets to guide supply chain decisions. This role serves as the key administrator of supplier performance data systems and reporting tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain and analyze supplier performance KPIs across business units.
• Build and publish monthly dashboards and scorecards using Power BI and Excel.
• Manipulate and synthesize large datasets to identify trends, risks, and performance gaps.
• Maintain the Approved Supplier List (ASL), ensuring timely updates of supplier certifications and compliance documentation.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and performance reports.
• Assist in updating ERP records and master data for MRO purchasing needs.
• Serve as the administrator for supplier performance systems and support improvement projects.
• Coordinate supplier-related events, performance reviews, and system trainings.
Other Activities
• Create standardized reporting templates and automate data visualization using Power BI.
• Edit and format documents and reports for internal and external distribution.
• Maintain accurate logs, records, and internal controls aligned with Safran policies.
• Support compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Knowledge & Skills
• Fluent in English. Spanish and French is a plus
• Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard/report creation and interactive visualizations.
• Strong experience managing and analyzing large, complex datasets.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Solid understanding of supply chain processes, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain, data analytics, or procurement.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, data manipulation, and reporting tools preferred.
• ERP system experience is a plus (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
