Job Description
Our Senior Pricing Analyst, working with external consultants and contractors, and under the supervision of VP Sales Operations will implement a pricing model into a standard pricing software package (Pros, Zilliant or PriceFX)
After implementation, our Sr. Analyst will lead the pricing platform operation and maintenance to deliver corporate pricing strategies. Translating corporate and commercial pricing objectives into actions and results, by operating over key margin lever is a continuous objective of this position
Using analytical skills, and pricing analysis modules, will produce compact and consistent reports to propose actions and to communicate results to EIS executive leadership team.
Mapping processes, communicating pricing strategies to the organization and keeping records of actions is an integral part of the Job.
Responsibilities
- Map pricing methods, processes and workflows
- Perform analysis to measure the effectiveness of price changes and recommend corrective action if necessary
- Use pricing software tools to track actions over pricing and consequent results
- Define price lists creation criteria and maintenance
- Customer specific pricing Management and Governance
- Communicate price changes to EIS field employees
- Review of daily margin reporting with analytics to identify areas of improvement
- Close coordination with EIS cost management team and fabrication cost team to effectively translate cost variance effects into pricing.
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree and experience in pricing activities.
- Experience or exposure to technical sales and industrial distribution.
- ERP Experience, SAP knowledge and experience is a plus
- Advanced skill level in pricing software (Pros, Vendavo, PriceFx, Zilliant or similar)
- Advanced skill level in Microsoft Tools including Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills, Detail oriented
