THE CITY OF LEAWOOD, KANSAS is looking for an
Experienced Administrative Assistant
As the Administrative Assistant to the Public Works Department, you will serve as a key liaison between the public and the department as well as play a crucial support role, handling a wide variety of tasks. You must exhibit excellent customer service and ensure smooth daily operations with the front desk at Public Works.

The general hours of the position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Occasional morning hours are required to assist Department Committees.
Minimum Requirements: Must have at least two years of administrative or clerical experience. Be able to become a Notary Public.
Preferred Requirements: Currently hold a Notary Public certification. Experience in processing invoices and records management and working in a support role in a government or public sector setting is also preferred.

Starting Rate of Pay: $21.63 - $26.50 / hour, DOQ
