We’re presenting an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Representative to join our Business Development team! We’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused individual who is passionate about uncovering new opportunities, building trust with potential clients, and driving growth through consultative selling. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, setting the stage for long-term success with NBF.

Here’s a General Overview of What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Proactively source and qualify new sales opportunities via inbound and outbound channels.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through consultative conversations.
  • Understand customer goals and challenges to recommend tailored furniture solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendor partners to ensure seamless service.
  • Follow up on leads and referrals to maximize conversion rates.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Manage marketing-qualified lead (MQL) programs and serve as the face of outbound initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, inside sales, or customer service.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Technical proficiency with Salesforce, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a professional presence.

It Would be Nice to Have:

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in office furniture or a related industry
  • Familiarity with vendor coordination and product inquiries
