Operational Supervision
Coordinate daily activities related to the use of GSE equipment.
Assign equipment according to the flight schedule and planned maintenance.
Verify that equipment is available and operational before each shift.
Ensure compliance with operational and safety procedures established by the airline, airport, and aviation regulations regarding equipment maintenance.
Equipment Maintenance and Control
Supervise the execution of preventive and corrective inspections of GSE equipment according to the maintenance schedule.
Report and coordinate repairs with the personnel assigned to maintenance.
Keep track of usage hours, fuel consumption, and the condition of each unit.
Ensure that non-compliant equipment is removed from service and properly identified until repaired.
GSE Personnel Management
Lead and supervise GSE operations personnel and their interview process.
Efficiently distribute tasks and shifts.
Train and evaluate personnel on procedures, safety, and equipment usage.
Ensure compliance with personal safety standards (PPE, safety zones, signage).
Regulatory Compliance and Safety
Ensure compliance with airport regulations (ISAGO, IATA, etc.).
Conduct annual reviews of GSE operations manuals and make necessary adjustments.
Participate in investigations of GSE incidents or technical failures.
Apply and reinforce emergency response procedures for GSE equipment.
Administrative Control
Maintain updated records of inventory, maintenance, consumption, and equipment assignments.
Ensure daily and monthly reports on GSE equipment usage and availability.
Propose improvements in fleet and operations management to optimize resources.
Participate in budget planning (spare parts, fuel, new acquisitions).
Interdepartmental Coordination
Coordinate with Maintenance Operations, Ground Services, and external suppliers.
Ensure timely ramp service to avoid delays in departures or arrivals.
Maintain constant communication between HUB and Ramp to monitor GSE equipment performance.
Availability to work rotating shifts.
Motivated and enthusiastic.
Knowledge of Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Organized, proactive, and self-motivated.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Fully bilingual with complete command of English and Spanish. (Required)
Valid driver’s license.
Extensive knowledge of GSE fleet workshop operations.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
No disciplinary actions in the last 12 months.
Minimum of one (1) year of tenure with the company.
