In this position

  • Ensure compliance with KSA regulatory requirements (Ministry of Transport, Civil Defence) and client, DHL HSE standards.
  • Monitor transportation and logistics operations to identify risks, hazards, and unsafe practices.
  • Conduct site inspections and vehicle safety checks (pre-trip and post-trip).
  • Maintain HSSE overview of progress in fulfilling scope of work
  • Review and critique project documents on logistics safety issues
  • Manage input of information from transport providers required to fulfil scope
  • Work closely with the client, transportation contractors, and project logistics teams to ensure safe execution of operations.
  • Support audits, safety inspections, and compliance reviews with client HSE representatives.
  • Complete monthly HSSE statistical reports related to the project and communicate to different parties
  • Liaise with authorities (traffic police, civil defense, ministry officials) when required
  • Develop and enforce safety plans for all project movements and heavy equipment and other project cargo.
  • Assess journey routes, traffic management plans, and driver fitness before operations.
  • Monitor fatigue management, heat stress, and safe driving hours in alignment with Saudi regulations.
  • Follow up unsafe acts and conditions reports and advise / enforce corrective action plans.
  • Provide safety inductions and toolbox talks to drivers, riggers, and logistics staff.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through awareness campaigns and coaching
  • Knowledge of defensive driving and road safety regulations.
  • Incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Strong leadership and team coaching ability.
  • Risk assessment and method statement (RAMS) preparation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
 

Now, here is what we need from you!

  • At least 3-5 Years of relevant safety oil and energy / logistics experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in safety, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • NEBOSH IGC / IOSH / OSHA certification (mandatory).
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in HSE, preferably in logistics, heavy transport, or industrial projects in KSA/GCC.
  • Familiarity with Saudi HSE regulations and transport laws.
  • Experience oil and energy or heavy-lift logistics (advantage).
  • Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • Logistics background including but not limited to Heavy Lifting & implementation to safety transport journey management plans.
  • Good IT / Computer Skills
