Leidos’ Defense Systems Electronic Manufacturing Facility is seeking a 2nd Shift PCBA-SMT Line Manager to join our team at our Electronics Manufacturing Facility.  Candidate will be responsible for leadership of the 2nd shift technician team that builds Printed Circuit Board Assemblies.  The type of work includes running  PCBA’s on SMT lines, AOI Inspection, X-Ray Inspection and hand soldering of SMT and through-hole components.

Primary Responsibilities

  • This position will have day to day responsibilities for Safety, Quality Delivery, Cost and Moral goals of electronics team that works on SMT line and PCBA soldering operations
  • Candidate will be required to have basic computer skills associated with these assembly tasks (such as retrieving the manufacturing documentation from the system, updating the system as router steps are completed, communication via email, Excel spreadsheets, etc.).
  • This position will have day to day responsibilities for Safety, Quality Delivery, Cost and Moral goals of electronics team that works on PCBA soldering and assembly operations. 
  • Communicate with customers (internal or external) to provide updates on both schedule and cost
  • Leading efforts for 5S in labs and day to day needs of technicians. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or a Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant work experience. In lieu of a degree, a High School diploma/GED with 10 years of experience will be considered.
  • Applicants must have strong experience working with teams.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet multiple objectives over similar time periods
  • Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
  • This is a 2nd shift position

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience running SMT equipment
  • Familiar with Selective Solder, hand solder and other PCBA operations
  • Current or prior J-STD-001 certification
  • Current or prior IPC-610 certification
  • Experience leading a team
  • Experience working 2nd shift
  • MES (Solumina or Aegis) Build Tracking experience

Pay Range:

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
