Position Summary: Raytheon CSI is seeking a self-motivated experienced full stack software test engineer capable of supporting multiple projects in a variety of environments. The test engineer will be responsible for verifying the proper usability and reliability of software, as well as managing any deficiencies through the testing lifecycle. Many of Raytheon CSI's projects are undertaken by small teams in close coordination with all team members and customers while following Agile/SCRUM methodologies. Therefore, testing is a continuous process that often takes part in parallel with development. The test engineer must have the ability to quickly learn new technologies to support his/her projects and in some cases have the ability to support multiple projects. Competitive candidates will share many technical attributes with that of a software developer however, he/she will likely find more enjoyment in breaking software than writing it. This is an engineering position and will not be a solely black box testing position.

Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years applicable experience as a Test Engineer
Ability to confidently design and perform complicated testing activities without direct supervision
Proficiency with analyzing system architectures to determine required test and security test needs
Hardware and/or embedded systems background
Familiarity with Linux
Python or Bash Scripting
Ability to design, write, and execute automated test scripts
Jenkins or similar Continuous Integration software
Understanding of Configuration Management control
Agile/SCRUM methodologies
Experience using virtualization techniques (VMware, Virtualbox)
-- Ability to quickly build a variety of testing environments
Basic understanding of networking (e.g. TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL)
Basic understanding of cryptographic algorithms and technologies
-- AES, RSA, ECC, asymmetric vs symmetric
Excellent technical writing abilities
Ability to design, write, and review documentation
-- Test plans, procedures, reports, user guides, and other documents as needed

Desired Skills:
Anti-tamper technologies
Performing Factory Acceptance Tests
Low-level system software testing
Ability to read and review code in Python, C, C++
Familiarity with Linux installation and administration
Experience with version control solutions (e.g. git, svn)
-- Ability to clone repositories, checkout branches and build projects
Debuggers and disassemblers (e.g. gdb, windbg, IDA)
Familiarity with Ansible is a plus
Requirements analysis & management
Proposal writing experience

Comfortable with managed risk
Active Top Secret clearance

Education required: BS degree (preferably in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering)

Clearance Required: US Citizenship required. The ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance is required. An active Secret or higher security clearance is highly desirable.
