Job Description:

Responsible for documenting, maintaining, analyzing, and prioritizing stakeholder needs. The Systems Engineer transforms these needs into formal stakeholder requirement statements. S/he then transforms these stakeholder requirements into specific technical requirements for the system. The positon plays a dominant role in the Stakeholder Needs and Requirements Definition Process and the System Requirements Definition Process, s/he administers requirements throughout the life cycle of the project. Formal documentation of baseline requirements and all subsequent changes (which may arise from a number of other processes) is important for the success of the project. The position will place special emphasis on traceability. S/he will typically employ the Verification Process to ensure components (or the entire system) fulfills technical requirements. S/he will typically employ the Validation Process to ensure the system fulfills stakeholder (user-oriented) requirements in its intended operating environment and garners customer satisfaction.
- Develop weapons system level requirements and work with IPTs to coordinate weapon system impacts and requirements.
? Develop and maintain system level specifications for all Systems, coordinates with Team for system integration, testing, and verification.
? Develop weapons management system to meet program requirements for stores, safety, and performance.
? Plan and perform test and verification activities including: system performance, environmental qualification, safety, and production functional tests.
? Work closely with Integrated Program Teams to review evolving design and provide input into their decisions.
? Perform system level and weapon level analysis to validate performance requirements.

Bachelors in an Engineering/Technical Discipline and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience. Previous DOD experience in System Engineering a plus
- Candidate should thrive in complex and rapidly changing work environments and have a solid mix of technical and nontechnical skills.
? Ability to provide analysis, troubleshooting and Systems design.
? Experience in a Defense industry is beneficial.
? Need top-notch abilities in communication, strong documentation skills, time management and teamwork.
? Project management skills a plus

Clearance Requirement:

Must currently possess or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
