At any given point in me, SHC reflects approximately $8 billion on the Balance Sheet in Inventory (cost). The management of this Inventory is a critical component of the SHC Supply Chain. Inventory Management encompasses all information flow; physical flow and financial flow between the vendor, store, and end?customer. The Inventory Management model of SHC is comprised of Plan, Buy, Make, Move and Sell.
The Need: Consistent with the Inventory Management model described above, a need exists to ensure that the organization has the appropriate systems and processes to manage product through the life cycle of an item. Ongoing analysis, review, and improvement our supply chain systems and processes along with supporting the business on these topics is an on?going cycle.
Joining SHC as an Inventory Analyst Intern means playing a KEY role in our journey. In your role, you will own work and project streams that will have significant influence in transforming our organization.
Our Inventory Internship is typically a path to Inventory Analyst but an opportunity to explore many other positions within our business as well.
