This position requires a multi-discipline Mission Systems Engineer to perform problem analysis & disposition and in-house technical support for the F-35 Reprogramming Labs. Applicants will be required to accomplish in-depth analysis of F-35 Mission Systems in support of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company (LM Aero) . Coordinate evaluation of impacts from proposed problem resolutions. Remain current on all proposed and pending engineering changes for assigned systems and monitor systems performance indicators to identify emerging failure trends. This individual will provide Field technical support to the Joint Reprogramming Enterprise laboratories. Coordinate required vendor and engineering support during investigation, fact finding, and resolution/disposition. Must be able to effectively utilize technical and engineering data within the appropriate engineering tools to perform problem analysis at the subsystem level. Support program technical interchange meetings between sub-vendors, LM engineering, and the Joint Program Office when necessary.
-Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
-Some short-term travel may be required, must be willing to work any shift and weekends.
-Must be able to obtain F-35 Program clearance and program access.
Experience with technical writing.
Experience with Drawing and Schematic reading/interpretation, troubleshooting and fault isolation.
Experience with F-35 (JSF)
Experience with MS Office applications Engineering Experience , knowledge of aircraft.
Experience/understanding with problem analysis and technical issue resolution.
Experience responding to customer queries regarding problems, technical responses.
Good knowledge of F-35 CRM (Customer Relationship Management)and ALIS(Autonomic Logistics Information System)will be helpful.
Previous experience with Data Quality analysis and disposition
Knowledge of LM Aero engineering applications/resources helpful.
Some short-term travel may be required.
Must be willing to work any shift and weekends.
