Raytheon IIS is seeking a talented individual for a system administration/development position at Consolidated Remote Operations Facility Airborne (CROFA) which is housed at Ft. Meade, Maryland USA. CROFA is currently looking for a system administrator in support of the 94IS and AFCO.
This position requires two key areas for CROFA support. The current BayEagle staff is standing up streaming audio capability to a OneRoof server for the 94IS in addition to supporting the development, build and deployment of Agile Enclave (AE) for AFCO. This position supports AFCO in the development of AE.The AE development activity requires hardware build-out of a server rack, network cabling, building combined operator workstations running Linux, VM Workstation and proprietary Raytheon software, software build and loads of workstations and servers, security tightening to meet A6 accreditation and operational testing of all functions on the system. The Engineer filling this position would be required to participate in all these areas of development. Support will be provided by the current BayEagle staff as needed.Working closely with the AFCO staff to accomplish security accreditation is also a major component of this position.
This position can be a G09 or G10 based on education, experience and skillset.Requires a minimum DOD TS/SCI (existing) with current SSBI & Full Scope Polygraph
·Must be a US Citizen with a minimum DOD TS/SCI (existing) with current SSBI & Full Scope Polygraph Clearance
·Bachelor Degree with 6+ years of related software/integration engineering experience
·Proven ability in System Administration (either Linux or Unix), including ability to install, maintain, patch, and perform security hardening
·Familiarity with VMWare, including ability to install, manage, and integrate
·Knowledge of Windows 7 and 2008 Server, including ability to install, maintain, patch, and perform security hardening
·Proven ability to troubleshoot configuration problems and /or complex system problems
·Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Java & C programming languages
·Excellent written and oral communication skills
·Ability to work with a diverse set of customer personnel
·This position requires 25+% domestic and foreign travel
·A working knowledge of both software and hardware networking
·Familiarity with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements and the application to DoD systems
·Understanding of DCGS AF Operations a plus
·An understanding of C4ISR principles and how they apply to site CONOPS
·Background in systems engineering, software engineering, integration and Test, or related engineering disciplines with a working knowledge of the integration and Test (I&T) and operations (O&M) phases of the program life cycle
Required Education (including Major): Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Physics, OR 8 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
