Currently, ManTech is seeking a Digital Media Specialist to join our ever growing organization in Herndon, Virginia. The Digital Media Specialist is responsible for creating and executing robust and innovative social Media and online strategies for ManTech that will promote the reputation and growth of the business and effectively position ManTech at the forefront of protecting National Security. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Own, write and edit content for social Media channels (website and social Media handles)
  • Edit content and place on corporate website with visuals, working with graphics Team
  • Drive results including channel, content and outreach strategy
  • Help shape the company tone and voice and implement consistency across all social properties
  • Influencer outreach: Identification of and connection to members of the industry and influencers to grow reach and build a network of advocates
  • Works with the marketing Team to develop content and materials including infographics and Digital video content
  • Prepare internal stakeholders with social Media training when necessary and identify opportunities for executive social Media engagement
  • Develop and employ metrics and methods to establish goal markers and quantify the success of broad and targeted social Media campaigns within designated timeframes
  • Provide monthly metric reports
  • Create visuals through photography and working with graphics Team
  • Manage and execute social Media and blog calendar
  • Advise business groups and HR on how to engage their audiences through social Media. Maintain policies and procedures for social Media material development and build new processes to enhance content that reflect our corporate objectives
  • Assist with additional visual marketing content creation projects as needed: photography sessions, video shoots, etc., supporting Advanced Media Director
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Bring energy, ideas and fresh perspective to a Team that values all three

Position Requirements:

  • Requires Bachelor?s degree in journalism or marketing
  • Three or more years managing social Media on behalf of a mid-size brand
  • Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, maintaining editorial calendar, content categorization and structure, content development, and distribution
  • Proven capability to create compelling and creative content in text, photography, video, and livestream for social Media and corporate website
  • Familiar with social Media delivery and measurement software
  • Highly organized and strong communications skills
  • Savvy with technology devices, word, power point and other software
  • Some experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and InCopy would be a plus
