Engineering Services Manager
? Kirtland AFB, New Mexico
This position is contingent upon contract award
Lead the development of work processes, tools, and knowledge resources that support the mission of the facility
Lead the establishment of guidelines and processes used for technical requirements, quality control, documentation
Maintain documentation supporting facility design
Lead key engineering efforts to include code compliance and safety standards

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management from a program certified by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) or from a program certified by the National Architecture Accrediting Board.
Shall have and maintain professional registration as an engineer under the requirements of the New Mexico State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors (http://www.sblpes.state.nm.us/) or as an architect under the requirements of New Mexico Board of Examiners for Architects (http://www.bea.state.nm.us/).
Minimum of 10 years? experience in the engineering section of civil engineer organization at a major US military installation (Air Force experience is preferred).
Minimum of 3 years? experience in a supervisory position.
Must have professional registration in New Mexico on the date of hire, the ESM shall submit all required paperwork for licensure by endorsement, comity, reciprocity, etc. to the applicable New Mexico PE or RA board no later than 14 calendar days after their first day of work on site.
Must have professional registration in New Mexico within 60 calendar days after their first day of work on site at Kirtland AFB, provide licensure status (to include anticipated licensure date) in writing to the CO/ACO no later than 60 calendar days after their first day of work on site at Kirtland AFB.
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (i.e., MAXIMO, CADD)
Proven direct management experience successfully managing a staff of approximately 100
Currently holds a SECRET security clearance.
Licenses/Certifications: Professional Engineer preferred
