The Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) Configuration and Data Management (CMDM) team is seeking an experienced Hardware Configuration Management Configuration Analyst. This position will provide configuration management (CM) support to engineering programs in Marlborough, Massachusetts and will support the management and control of hardware configurations and baselines, ensuring complete traceability of changes through a documented change management process.
With a focus on Hardware Configuration Items, tasks include configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status accounting, product release and configuration audits. Track and process hardware drawings and engineering change notices. Create/improve CM processes related to Hardware CM. Facilitate Configuration Change Control Boards and provide CM assessments and inputs to engineering change requests. Interface with all engineering disciplines and program management. The candidate must be a flexible team player with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent tasks in a diverse environment. US Citizenship is required due to the candidate needing to be able to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Clearance Requirement:
A clearance is not required upon hire but the position will require the candidate to obtain and maintain a minimum of a DoD SECRET clearance.

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:

  • Bachelor degree and at least 4 years of experience developing and implementing Configuration Management principles, processes and training, such as configuration control, identification, data management (library/repository), product release and delivery, and configuration audits.
  • Develops Configuration Management solutions to complex problems and ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives and be able to interpret, execute and make recommendations to organizational policies.
  • Experience with a Configuration Management Systems CMSTat and Windchill PTC
  • Experience working in a technical environment interfacing with all engineering disciplines and able to work well in a team environment and actively assist or provide direction as needed.
  • Ability to guide individuals to accomplish change management steps in a timely manner.
  • Collaborates across the Program Management Office (PMO) to proactively manage CM risks, opportunities, and overall deliverables.
  • Manages digital files and work products.
  • Provides support for proposals, quotations and budget/cost reviews.
  • Ensures that all program-related information is effectively stored and controlled when the contract close-out activity is completed.
Desired Experience, Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:
  • Certifications from either NDIA or CMII in Configuration Management
  • Experience working with CMMI and ISO 9000 CM requirements.
