CSRA is looking for an Aircraft Electronic Systems Engineer in Germany to Support the Communications Electronics Command providing Electronics Engineering services in support of US Army Europe.
The Aircraft Systems Engineer shall support Army unit?s equipment, provide high-level troubleshooting and maintenance, and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the Government.
Must have a current and active Secret clearance and able to obtain a TS/SCI.
Among the responsibilities include, but not limited to
Provide on-site field support to customers including the installation and servicing of the AN/AAR-57 CMWS and AN/ALQ-212 ATIRCM Aviation Survivability system on both Army rotary and fixed wing aircraft.
Assist unit Avionics and armament personnel in Troubleshooting and the repair of all aircraft ASE systems including Radar and Laser detection systems.
Review and approve the operational quality of the CMWS system line replaceable units. Assist units in fielding upgrades, logistics of ASE parts and updated tracking measures.
Provide on-site technical assistance with specialized testing equipment. Compile trend reports and weekly summaries for higher reporting and act as liaison between the Brigade Aviation Maintenance Officer (BAMO) and key Project Management Office Aircraft Survivability Equipment personnel.
Travel as required by the Government.
Perform PMIs in accordance with the appropriate Army Tech Manual, Tech Bulletin, PMI schedules and manufacturer?s manuals unless the periodicity is specified otherwise in the appropriate Tech Manual.
The Aircraft Electronic Systems Engineer shall maintain, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and operate the following types of equipment:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A bachelor?s degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, OR; associate?s degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR; A major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR; 11 years of recent specialized experience.
- TESA Accreditation
- Must have a current and active Secret clearance and be able to obtain TS/SCI
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: 8 years Avionics, Armament or aircraft electrical experience. Current and active Secret DoD Security Clearance. Able to navigate aircraft specific electronic technical manuals. Ability to deploy to all locations that have operational units with ASE systems installed. Experience in the CMWS and ATIRCM systems. Experience should include but is not limited to commercial and military ASE equipment.
