Responsible for acting as lead and the technical focal point for calibration/repair activities on 2nd shift. Responsible for researching equipment specifications and developing calibration procedures to ensure equipment meets specifications. Position requires interaction with assigned technicians, equipment users, test equipment manufacturers and various levels of management.
Demonstrated ability to interpret specifications, drawings and schematics in a professional environment.
Demonstrated ability to identify and quantify measurement uncertainties.
Formal training and experience in electrical and dimensional metrology.
Proven knowledgeable of laboratory safety requirements, general laboratory quality requirements and industry practices pertaining to calibration and repair of test and measuring equipment.
Experience with MS Word and Excel.
Experience calibrating/troubleshooting large floor based equipment such as wire analyzers, autoclaves, ovens, and laser projection systems. Experience calibrating pressure measurement devices also desired.
Experience researching technical requirements and creating technical documents.
Knowledgeable of industry quality requirements such as ISO 10012, 17025, ANSI Z-540 and MIL-STD 45662A.
