Develop simulation software and high fidelity scenario scripts in support of Avionics OFP SW testing. The position will require support for all phases of development through the SW development life cycle. Simulation software includes high fidelity models of the aircraft and its systems, flight characteristics and the environment to support pilot vehicle interface actions.

The Software Engineer will design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to mission problems for simulation systems, support SW coding through the software development life cycle to include integration and installation of respective subsystems, and apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle to ensure software standards are met.

Basic Qualifications
Develop and execute automated test scripts, scenarios and SW Tools, preferably with exposure to Java Script, Perl, OpenSceneGraph or similar languages. Provide test support and test closeout. Basic understanding of test procedure and script test development and execution;

Desired skills
Ability to solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established procedures. Ability to function as a self-starter.

Good communication skills, both oral and written, are essential.
Basic understanding and knowledge of key programming languages such as ADA, C++, Java Script, Perl, OpenSceneGraph (OSG), UNIX/LINUX, Microsoft Visual Studio, Object Oriented Methodologies and UML;

Understanding of full software lifecycle concepts including requirement definition and flow down, development skills and test concepts, and methodology. Basic understanding and knowledge of developing real-time embedded software; Basic understanding and knowledge of single board computers and real-time operating systems;
