To pick, receive, verify, locate, issue, stock, stage and transport material used in the manufacturing process.

? Follow standard work instructions and pull, transport, or receive materials according to manufacturing needs
? Safely operate PITs (Powered Industrial Trucks) including but not limited to fork trucks, tuggers, waves, and order pickers
? Set up and operate scales for use in counting material as needed
? Maintain standard in accuracy in all picking operations through use of 4 point quality check
? Pick, issue and stage materials within performance guidelines to assure the satisfaction of internal and external customers are met
? Receive and stock materials within established standard processes to assure on time delivery to internal customer
? Notify Inventory Analyst/Cycle Counters when discrepancies in inventory arise and aid in maintaining inventory by doing actual counts when necessary
? Utilize a fork truck to receive, stock, pick, remove scrap and deliver materials within standard work processes to assure the on time delivery of material to assigned value stream manufacturing lines
? Maintains a supply of materials necessary to complete necessary operations
? Maintain the orderliness and cleanliness of assigned staging areas
? Maintains accurate records and inventory balances
? Ensure PTO, Kanban, WIP, and Finished Goods inventory is being delivered to support production needs
? Accurately and efficiently deliver purchased parts or raw materials from the supermarket to assembly or manufacturing lines
? Deliver what is signaled on an established frequency timed tugger route
? Manage Kanban processes within respective value streams
? Maintain equipment; including documenting daily safety check sheets and reporting findings as necessary to Supervisor or appropriate resource
? Meets established performance standards to ensure production schedules are met
? Ensures that product meets nVent?s quality specifications
? Participates actively as a team member through continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs
? Maintains a clean, safe and organized work area as required by 5S standards
? Notifies Supervisor or other appropriate resource when problems arise concerning equipment, operations, materials, inventory, documentation, etc.
? Complies with all applicable safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or potential safety hazards to Supervisor or appropriate resource
? May be required to perform additional duties as assigned

? High school diploma or G.E.D
? Minimum 1 year?s material handling work experience preferred.
? Experience operating RF scanner and software
? Computer experience with Windows Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards and the Internet.
? Fork lift license required and/or ability to obtain within 30 days

? Knowledge of all material flow processes
? Knowledge of safety policies and procedures, and ability to promote compliance with them.
? Skill in analytical thinking and problem solving
? Skill in communicating effectively through oral and written communications
? Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstance and have the ability to thrive in a constantly changing business environment.
? Ability to operate equipment necessary to picking process. i.e. wave lift, tugger truck, mother/daughter carts
? Ability to function in a high stress, high pressure environment, with a positive attitude.
