About the Position:

In this role you willbe a member of the Azure Cloud Infrastructure team with working knowledge and hands-onexperience in Cloud adoption and deployment.
Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Plan, build and deliver the Azure cloud visionby providing technical expertise and guidance in cloud technologies.
Provide proven infrastructure deploymentsthrough continuous configuration automation (ARM templates).
Provide operational support for Cloudenvironment, inclusive of network, storage, compute, Operating Systems(Windows, Red Hat), and application services
Work with business units to enable migrationsfrom on premise deployments to a public cloud environment.
Develop an agile deployment process to improvetime to market for infrastructure request.
Work with a team of Architects and Engineersto develop approaches for Azure cloud services.
Able to corral and coordinate significantvolumes of information and provide insights into both qualitative andquantitative data.
Provide outputs that can contribute tomanagement of the live services.
Develops own ideas, or the ideas of others,making all the necessary observations and tests and carrying them through to afull practical demonstration, wherever viable and feasible.
Develops models and plans for theimplementation of the strategy, taking advantage of opportunities to improvebusiness performance.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
Well versed in cloud constructs primarily from Azure and otherproviders.
Proven ability with JSON, PowerShell or 3rd party software toolsto create and deploy infrastructure as code ( Such as Checkpoint firewall, VMs,Storage Accounts & Managed Disks, Backups, Site Recovery, App Gateways,Load Balancers, Network Security Groups, Active Directory, VNETs, PaaS databaseofferings, OMS, Data Factory, API Management Service)
Proven design, planning and implementation experience with allinfrastructure components including Storage, Network and Compute technologies.
Experience with enterprise architectures a plus
Experience in developing low level designs
Work as part of a team to execute regionally while maintaining aglobal view.
An up to date knowledge current technology and IT servicemanagement
A demonstration of keeping abreast of trends in the IT industry
A proven knowledge of working in a multi partner outsourcedenvironment
A sound grasp of utility business and partnering and knowledgeof the full IT lifecycle will be essential.

Experience & Technical Knowledge Desired:
5+years IT Infrastructure management experience including Azure cloudinfrastructure management
Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or anequivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Methods and techniquesfor structured reviews, including reviews of technical diagrams, themes,capabilities, epics and stories during sprints and program increment sessionswithin a Scaled Agile framework desirable
Experience withenterprise and solution architecture desirable
Utility businessknowledge of the full IT lifecycle desirable
Good written andverbal communications skills
Good stakeholdermanagement and influencing skills at project stakeholder level
Ability to conveyconceptual architecture or detailed architecture depending on audience
Ability to work aspart of a team
