Key Responsibilities
Lead, educate, and inspire interest in advanced analytics across finance utilizing automation and demonstration of advanced analytical capabilities
Partner with cross-functional finance areas and GBIS to identify development opportunities in advanced analytics and growth opportunities that will benefit from advanced analytic capabilities
Develop and manage watchlist of potential use cases of emerging technologies in Finance to solve business problems
Leadership on internal communications that drive awareness and promote advanced analytics across Finance
Leads efforts to effectively promote and incorporate best practices and benchmarks to continually improve processes and efficiencies
Partner with all relevant operating segments to provide guidance and analytics to support key decision making to help ensure that the project objectives are achieved
Work closely with the owners of the systems, tools, and overall process associated with the planning process for the forecast, annual operating plan and strategic planning
Drive workstream teams to work in support of the project, change management, and functional support activities
Responsible for helping develop program management plans including schedule, communications plan, and other standard methodology deliverables.
Position Qualifications
Bachelor?s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Marketing Research, Management Information Systems, or related field
MBA/MS/MA preferred, not required
10+ years business experience
Broad experience in the business and across functions in an organization
Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify patterns, opportunities, gaps, and integrate across disparate data sources
Knowledge of industry and customer research sources e.g. Nielsen, Spectra, IRI
Working knowledge of BI tools and platforms e.g. Tableau, Power BI
Ability to communicate complex information and implications verbally, in interactions, and in written presentations
Proven presentation skills to convey insights and training material
Excellent influencing and communication skills in order to build relationships at all levels of the organization
Ability to identify problems and challenges, analyze root causes and identify, test and implement the appropriate solution
Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop teams
Able to deal with adversity
Exercises authority to lead and create positive impact
Ability to coach individuals to prepare them for leadership roles
