Part of central Industrial Engineering Team for LM Space, but specifically deployed to the Mechanical Manufacturing Center in Denver, which includes composites production, machining, and mechanisms assembly.

Responsibilities include:

-Design and recommend innovative processes that minimize cost and optimize workflow and efficiencies (materials, people, information, etc.).
-Conduct studies to determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow by analyzing production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules.
-Prepare cost estimates for proposed projects and evaluates cost factors; recommend changes pertaining to processes, cost control, as well as time and motion, work standards, work methods, personnel utilization, service, and quality.
-Identifying creative methods to overcome process challenges.
-Build business cases to support process development efforts by collaborating with Engineering, Quality & Safety, Manufacturing & Program Teams.

Basic Qualifications
A Bachelor?s degree in Industrial Engineering or related

Minimum of 3 years experience as an Industrial Engineer or similar experience in a Manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in MS Office suite.

Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Requires experience in analyzing work flows and
streamlining operations for labor utilization.

Desired skills
Ability to drive results and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Experience in composites or mechanical manufacturing.

Green Belt or Black Belt Certified.

Experience in analysis of production costs and use of advanced data analysis tools.

OLDP graduate.
