-Maintainability Engineer to support the development of field maintenance concept, processes and procedures for an advanced strategic weapon system.
-Candidate will support conceptual development and implementation of field support equipment to be used in handling, maintenance and test of deployed systems at base operated maintenance facilities.
-Participate as a member of the system design team to define and influence design for maintainability and testability to ensure capabilities in the field support operational and materiel availability requirements.
-Perform analyses of maintainer tasks to assess task frequency, detailed task sequence, support equipment required, tools required, job aids required, estimated task time, estimated personnel requirements, and specific Human Engineering (HE) considerations which drive HE requirements into the design.

-Must be a US Citizen and currently possess an Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance with a closed investigation (or re-investigation) within the last 6 years.
-Bachelors Degree from an accredited college (preferably in an engineering focused discipline OR equivalent experience/combined education.
-Minimum 5 years of professional experience focused on Maintainability Engineering and / or Maintenance & Logistics Planning experience.
-Experience in the development and presentation of technical findings and solutions to the customer and management.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience presenting technical findings and solutions to peers, customers, and management.
-Strong Computer Skills and Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
-Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
-Strong electrical background with a good mechanical understanding.
- Hands-on experience in the support of operational strategic weapon systems, involving planning and execution of organizational level maintenance and test responsibilities
-PHS&T (Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation) design support and transportation coordination of munitions and other hazardous materials.
-Self-starter capable of performing assigned tasks with very little or no direction; interacts well with others.
-Analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation.
-Experience working in a matrix organization; ability to work with cross functional teams.
