Come work for Lockheed Martin, an industry leader in Space! Lockheed Martin is looking for an items analyst to support the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program. Our item analyst will be someone who is a self-starter and thrives in a dynamic environment, leads by example, and has the ability to influence and foster collaboration and teamwork across geographically dispersed locations to generate impactful results.

As the items analyst you will be responsible for assuring inventory sufficiency with respect to mission requirements throughout the life cycle of supported systems. You will manage and control the asset position of customer inventories, especially under the conditions of performance based logistics (PBL) and total system performance responsibility (TSPR) contracts. The items analyst will make and execute decisions for operating inventory to include suppliers, repair facilities, 3PLs and customer locations, including priority interpretation, inventory allocation and asset redistribution as necessary among sources of supply and military operating locations. Responds to military service inquiries; supports requests for proposals and provisioning determinations; understands and uses various inventory optimization models; forecasts and manages budget requirements; interfaces with company and DoD information management systems; ensures fidelity of asset identification; resolves technical and support problems for assigned classes of items by actively interfacing with Sub-Contracts, Engineering and suppliers; prepares status reports and metrics relating to supplier performance and mission readiness.

*Ability to obtain Secret Clearance required for this role.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent years of experience within field in lieu of a degree maybe considered, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Experience with hardware sustainment concepts (logistics).
Planning and inventory experience (provisioning and replenishment)

Experience in meeting schedule milestones.

Experience reading and interpreting hardware design drawings.
Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Project, etc.).
