Join the AMA team as the Project Manager in the Health Solutions Group. As part of the team, you will perform day to day project management tasks required for the implementation of technology and content development initiatives in support of organizational objectives. Your projects may include: application development including integration and customization of off-the-shelf applications technology pilot development, new content development, existing content maintenance and software licensing and renewal management.

Other Responsibilities will include:

? Manage multiple projects of varying scope and complexity simultaneously and maintains project plans, status, and issues. Report project status regularly and proactively communicate concerns, issues and risks to management along with recommendations for solution. Resolve all project issues. Deliver projects on time, within budget and meet quality standards. Work collaboratively with team members.
? Develop demonstration projects such as learning modules. Identify, collect and document required information and data including business challenges, objectives and opportunities. Develop specifications for demonstrations that meet business requirements. Identify areas where procedures can be improved or developed.
? Coordinate partner, contractor and collaborator work flows. Collaborate with legal, finance and HSG team members to track data storage, IP rights, pipeline, budgets and revenue related to demonstration projects. Provide leadership updates, administrative support, logistics, and other assistance for the project.
? Partner with business stakeholders to understand their business needs, investigate options and prepare business and functional requirements for a systems solution. Analyze and document descriptions of user needs, including business process; work flows; data flows; use cases; and other requirements.


? BS or BA degree in health care or related field is required. (MS) or Business (MBA) is a plus. PMI Certification required.
? Minimum 3 years of project leadership, work scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and status reporting. Ability to supervise technical resources on project tasks.
? Minimum 2 years of health information technology experience preferred.
? Experience with project management tools preferred.
? Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must have experience documenting complex business systems problems and be able to provide recommendations and research of industry trends, business products, performance analysis, feasibility, measurable key performance indicators and cost impact.
? Ability to understand general technical design specifications and architecture in order to identify potential challenges with supporting the identified business requirements. Must be able to proactively identify potential risks associated with the proposed technology solution in relation to the identified business requirements
? Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.
? Proactively initiates, develops and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external team members to achieve results.
? Ability to work long hours when necessary, to travel, attend educational events, and to meet with vendors and high-level business leaders.
