Job Description:
Sacramento IT Support: Day-to-day responsibilities include interfacing between the Raytheon Sacramento (RS) management team and RMS IT teams with a focus primarily on customer issues and/or concerns. Responsible for interfacing with DXC, IBM, and Ricoh support teams for IT activities at Raytheon Sacramento. Responsible for communicating network environment issues to IT management. Responsibilities also include gathering customer requirements, presenting IT solutions to the site customer, and working with RMS IT Site Services and Service Owners to ensure successful completion of IT related projects. The individual will work closely with Raytheon Facilities, IT Engineering Solutions, Engineering, GSS, sourcing suppliers, and contractors. Other areas of responsibility include coordination of regular internal and external communication between RMS IT and customer/user organizations. The individual will serve as contact for management of the life cycle of all IT related assets (e.g. hardware, software, peripheral equipment, telephony, and associated maintenance contracts) at the site.


Security Clearance:
Must be able to obtain a final Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance
U.S. citizenship required for purposes of ITAR access and obtaining clearances.
Additional clearances may also be required from the DoD

The Ideal Candidate will possess:

Required Skills:

  • Six plus years? experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Information Technology project lifecycle experience
  • Engagement experience in a wide spectrum of information technology roles
  • Experience in coordinating simultaneous initiatives in a fast-paced environment


Desired Skills/Technical knowledge:
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance
  • In depth knowledge dealing with service providers
  • High level of security knowledge and industry best practices
  • Extensive knowledge of Wintel & Linux environments (system administrator level)
  • Strong technical, troubleshooting and analysis skills
  • Experience can be substituted for educational requirements
  • NIST Cybersecurity Framework (NIST CSF)
  • Sarbanes-Oxley critical audit controls
  • SANS foundational concepts
  • ITIL certification
  • DRI Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) certification
  • CISSP
  • Basic understanding of network technologies

Required Education: B.S. or equivalent experience
Majors: Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, Systems Engineering


Special Work Environment:
Systems are 24x7 and occasionally requires work effort beyond normal work hours
