F-35 Support Equipment Field Support Representative (FSR) for Aircraft Depot at Cameri, Italy facility.

Foreign Assignment: This position will offer a 1-year short term assignment to Cameri, Italy with possibility of extension.

The SE FSR provides technical guidance and logistics support for a broad range of F-35 Ground Support Equipment (GSE). Supports the organizational (unit) level tenant squadron technicians, military personnel and Lockheed Martin GSE mechanics (where applicable). Advises internal and external customers on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement of company technical products, programs and systems. Provides expertise for resolving technical problems and troubleshooting products to customer requirements. Provides product familiarization to customers. Work will be done at customer site and/or government base. Uses engineering data to determine correct equipment configuration and to identify or help define design deficiencies that limit equipment utility in the customer?s environment. Consults with GSE equipment managers, engineers, reliability engineering and suppliers to resolve customer equipment issues involving safety, usability, reliability and availability. Collects, archives and submits GSE readiness status. Identifies reliability and maintainability issues that affect readiness trends.

Job may require flexible work schedule to provide coverage for on-site customer requirements, to include possibility of weekend work requirements.

Successful candidate must be willing to relocate to the country of Italy and operate at the F-35 Depot facility for the duration of 1 year, with possibility of contract extension.

Employment is contingent upon the successful candidate's ability to pass medical, dental, overseas screening requirements, as well as obtain and maintain a work VISA for the country of Italy. Candidate must maintain their medical fitness for this position.

The selected applicant may be required to work rotating shifts, and work in excess of 40 hours per week to support equipment needs at the Depot. Potential for weekend work may be possible dependent on customer needs.

Relocation: Relocation is authorized. Successful candidate will operate under a short-term assignment to Italy.

Deployment and continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of the OJT required at Lockheed Martin?s training locations prior to international assignment. This is not a telecommuting position. These locations may include but are not limited to: Luke AFB, AZ; Nellis AFB, NV, Hill AFB, UT; Eglin AFB, FL; Edwards AFB, CA; Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Yuma, AZ; Beaufort, SC.

Accompanied Status Not Available: Dependents may not accompany successful candidate overseas. Any costs or expenses incurred for relocation of dependents to overseas location to accompany candidate will be incurred by the candidate, and will not be recompensed by Lockheed Martin.

Basic Qualifications
Candidates must have a Final Secret security clearance
Ground Support Equipment maintenance experience or commensurate related experience.
Proficient in industry standard maintenance practices.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient using MS Office Software including; Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook.
Experience using engineering drawings and technical data.
Capable of working in hazardous flightline environment.
Knowledge of industrial and aircraft maintenance safety standards.

In addition to the following:
1) Good Communication & Verbal skills (Ability to speak fluent Japanese considered a plus)
2) Self Starter & the ability to multitask
3) Must be willing to work off hours depending on operational needs.
4) Able to withstand extreme weather conditions in varying climates.
5) Able to lift and carry 80+ pounds for 25 or more yards.
6) Travel outside the local region is anticipated and will include CONUS and other locations in Italy in support of operational needs at other sites.
7) Time zone differences may require adjusted shift schedule as necessary to participate in telcons or VTCs with external agencies.
8) Successful candidate must be capable of passing medical, dental and overseas screening requirements and must maintain their medical fitness for this position as a condition of employment.
