Member of the Military Support Program (MSP) Ground Element Hardware Team that procures, installs, configures, integrates, and maintains Linux and IBM AIX based servers, workstations, and Windows based computers in support of large software development and Operations/Maintenance programs.

Duties include performing System Administrator tasks on the RedHat 7.x and AIX OS, installing and testing COTS software, running security scans, performing system hardening, verifying external connectivity impacts due to system changes/updates, and general system engineering.

Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications
-Strong knowledge of RedHat 7.x and AIX OS.
-Solid understanding of computer security principles
-Security+ certification

Desired skills
-Basic knowledge of networking topology, Domain Name Service (DNS), Network Information Service (NIS), and Network File System (NFS)
-Basic knowledge of multi-site interconnectivity
-Strong Microsoft Office skills, strong verbal and written communications, and strong attention to detail
