Job Duties and Responsibilities

The configuration manager is responsible for configuration control during the product development phase. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Reviews design release documents for completeness, proper approvals and system update, to ensure correct configuration modifications

Reviews contracts and drafts configuration plans to encompass all specification requirements

Assists in the maintenance of the database

May also be responsible for contract data submittal and status on smaller projects

May also be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining applications

Minimum education: A BS degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional configuration management experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

Minimum Experience: Five years of related experience
