Tomorrow's sensor systems in todays skies. Would you want to work on this modified 727 airliner, that conducts flight tests and evaluations on a variety of technologies, including radars, electro-optical/infra-red sensors, avionics and other systems? In addition to working on this aircraft you will get to work in a new hangar that will complete construction in late 2018.

The Raytheon Multi-program Test bed (RMT) Maintenance and Modification Production Supervisor will plan, schedule, and track progress of all RMT significant maintenance tasks, configuration changes, and modifications at the Ontario, CA worksite. The RMT is a highly modified Boeing 727 aircraft capable of advanced flight test vehicle for AESA radars, electronic warfare, multi-function electro-optical and infra-red, and next generation array programs. The Production Supervisor is a key member of the RMT Maintenance and Modification team.This person will work closely with Raytheon and / or subcontract engineering, fabrication, and installation personnel to develop, plan, and execute tasks on the RMT that will include incorporation of airworthiness directives / bulletins, system configuration changes, and new modifications.The Production Supervisor will plan and track staffing requirements, issue maintenance and modification planning documents, ensure proper engineering and quality control documentation is provided to the line personnel, and work with procurement to ensure parts, materials, and kits are available to support the tasks described above.The RMT Production Supervisor will work with the RMT Maintenance and Modification Manager to prioritize maintenance and modification related tasks so as to best support the RMT?s test schedule. He / she will work closely with the subcontract maintenance provider?s leadership team to ensure priorities are conveyed, modification / maintenance budgets are maintained, and the planned schedule is adhered to or develop recovery plans for slips in schedule.

The RMT Production Supervisor is expected to interface regularly with both Raytheon and subcontracted personnel at the Ontario and El Segundo sites and perform with minimal supervision. He / she must be capable of independent work, but also have the ability to work within a diverse team that includes both Raytheon and subcontract personnel.

Required Skills:
? 10+ years of experience in a planning and supervisory role in an operations engineering organization

? Substantial knowledge of and experience with FAA regulations and standards pertaining to aircraft modifications
? Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to determine material or parts required to complete work per the drawing
? Ability to create engineering and quality control documentation that can be used by line workers to properly install custom components
? Must be able to occasionally work flexible hours (weekends and nights) to support hangar and flight test operations
? Possess excellent written and verbal skills for developing and presenting technical material
? Strong initiative, desire to learn, and team leadership skills
? Proficient in MS Office Applications (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project)
? US Citizenship is required
? Ability to obtain access to US only data systems is required

Desired Skills:

Hold a current DoD Secret security clearance
Previous maintenance and modification planning experience on the RMT or Boeing 727 aircraft
Previous experience on maintenance and modification planning on experimental aircraft
Strong initiative, desire to learn, and team leadership skills

Required Education: Bachelor?s Degree in a related field
