SUMMARY
Conagra Brands is seeking Production Team Leads for all shifts for their Sandwich Bros. of Wisconsin, LLC plant located in Milwaukee, WI. The Team Lead assists the Shift Supervisor with production, production staff, processes, conduct of food safety and quality procedures and maintenance of the plant to assure a safe, efficient, productive and positive work environment. This person provides direction, instruction, and guidance to the associates on the line. All procedures and practices used are grounded in standards, regulations and laws addressing food safety and food quality, as well as environmental safety in accordance with Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure line operations meet established standards, specifications, efficiency and quality requirements to affect favorable production results.
Communicate and collaborate with other production leaders and cross-functional teams on a regular basis concerning production goals and all operation activity.
Foster team building & collaboration across functional areas at all levels.
Responsible for coaching and counseling hourly associates to foster a high-performance work team.
Maintain employee relations activities including safety, labor relations and grievance response and/or avoidance.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety guidelines and state and federal regulations.
Partner with the master labor planner to understand and optimize staffing needs.
Communicates routinely with associates to assure that all understand the day?s production schedule, key issues and challenges.
Reports problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to the Shift Supervisor.
Identifies and documents the skills, performance, learning needs, time and attendance of each production staff member daily.
Assists production trainer and shift supervisor on miscellaneous tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Requires a high school diploma
Requires a minimum of 2 year of food production work experience and packaging employees involved in continuous production process of food products
Requires a working knowledge of food safety and food quality standards and regulations.
Requires a minimum of 1-2 years of leadership skills in a team environment.
Requires the ability to communicate fluently in the English language to provide effective/clear written and oral communication to staff members. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Requires basic mathematical skills to be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide combined with analytical skills used to track and trend data and be able to use that data to guide decisions and communications with staff.
Requires basic computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
