This Secure Area Construction Manager for SAS Western Region will assist the Regional Physical Security Manager, Facility Security Manager, and Project Management with all facility construction that supports classified programs in compliance with the Joint Air Force-Army-Navy (JAFAN), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), and National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM.) Provide support for physical & technical security visits (access control, and alarming IDS). Review all Fixed Facility Checklists (FFC) and other accreditation documentation. Routinely assist in medium to large level construction projects with little or no supervision spanning multiple sites throughout SAS. Responsible for coordinating all assignments for tasks which includes multiple functional groups of support and communicating status reports up through various levels of management. The position is an intricate part in developing the secure area construction process to include plans, policies, and budget when necessary. Accountable for numerous large scale projects throughout the year with little or no oversite and provides expertise directly responsible for the timely success of secure area builds.

Required Skills:

  • Hands on knowledge of the requirements of Joint Air Force-Army-Navy (JAFAN), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), and National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM.)
  • Self-starter with strong communication skills, capability to multitask and handle several projects at the same time.
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

Desired Skills:
  • ICD 705 Certification
  • Six Sigma Certification
  • Experience with disaster recovery support.

Required Education:
Bachelor?s Degree and 6 years of equivalent job experience.

Desired Education:
Master?s Degree and 4 years of equivalent job experience.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
