Job Description:
This position requires a U.S. person. The Hardware Engineering Center (HWEC) is an engineering organization that focuses on product producibility and mission assurance. It is a vital link in the integrated product development process that allows Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) to introduce reliable new products faster, better, and more economically. This position is for an Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) electrical engineer to work in the EO Products and McKinney Manufacturing (EOPMM) Department supporting Electro-Optic hardware products. This entails leading multi-disciplined, multi-functional integrated product teams to design, develop, manufacture, and sustain complex state-of-the-art systems for airborne military applications. The IPTL will be the primary customer point of contact for all issues, including technical questions, weekly calls, obsolescence, planning estimates, and monthly status updates and spend plans. The IPTL will also support the Program Manager (PM) by completing EACs, supporting financial forecasting, leading proposal activity, and will be a key contact for supplier rework activity for our sensor providers.

Required Skills:

  • Familiar with Hyperspectral sensors (calibration and data analysis)
  • Ability to manage small and agile multi-disciplined team
  • Customer interface experience
  • Raytheon EVMS certification and control account manager (CAM) experience
  • Experience in proposal management and estimate at complete support
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiar with supply chain processes
  • Familiar with operations processes
  • Minimum of 6 years of Electrical Engineering experience
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
  • Able to obtain an interim Secret security clearance
  • Ability to access to US only data systems

Desired Skills:
  • Hands on lab and EO/IR system troubleshooting experience
  • Reliability and FRACAS experience
  • Familiar with design verification/testing of hardware

Required Education: Minimum of a B.S. in Electrical Engineering

Desired Education: M.S. in Electrical Engineering and/or MBA 118481
