This is a proposal position (contingent upon contract award) located at Kirtland AFB - Base Operations Support (BOS).
This position is responsible for the Air Force Readiness and Emergency Management (EM) program and shall manage emergency management requirements to include but not limited to: training, development, and management of emergency management plans.
Essential Job Functions: (not limited to duties as described - performs related duties as requested)
Accomplishes tasks, services, and requirements associated with management and execution of the Installation EM Program.
Manages all aspects of the EM planning documents/publications requirements through development, review, and updates to critical EM Program documents within established timeframes.
Participates in exercises to support the Installation Exercise Evaluation Team (IEET) Program; operates the Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Explosives Control Center (CBRNE CC) and Emergency Operations Center (EOC) during exercises; and evaluates the EM response.
Manages the Emergency Management Working Group (EMWG).
Education & Experience:
Must have at least fifteen (15) years of experience as an Emergency Manager.
Must have fifteen (15) years' experience as an Air Force First Responder / Emergency Responder in a fire department, police department, or medical response field.
The CREMM shall have the training specified in AFI 10-2501 for the Readiness and Emergency Management Officer/Chief.
Shall have the Nuclear Weapons Incident Response Training, Domestic Base (NWIRT) course taught by the Defense Weapons School or, if not previously qualified, complete the requirements within six (6) months from date of hire.
Additional experience/education may be required by contract and will be listed separately.
Licenses & Certifications:
The Contractor Readiness and Emergency Management Manager (CREMM) shall be either certified by the Air Force Emergency Manager Technical Training granting the 3E9 skill set identifier.
