Technical Professional Leader ? Piping

Under broad direction, supervises and leads a group of engineers. Provides technical direction over a group and is responsible for employee performance appraisals and for coaching and developing lower level professionals. Plans, budgets, organizes, and controls an important segment of a very extensive and highly diversified engineering program or an entire engineering program of moderate scope. Job role is responsible for a measurable asset such as an assigned staff and budget. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 10 years related experience, with average experience of 15

years.

Responsibilities

Work with a piping design team, executing pipe stress analysis, procuring specialty piping items and performing quality checks on construction deliverables

Must be able to multi tasks and work on several small projects at the same time

Qualifications:

Requirements/Qualifications

Professional Engineering license (P.E.) and a minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering is required

Capable of doing pipe stress analysis utilizing CAESAR II software

Familiar with PDMS. Capable of procuring specialty Piping Items

Familiar with international codes and standards including ASME B31.3, ASTM, ANSI and PIP
