Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

? Monitors contractor performance and works closely with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed according to specifications

? May act as the project coordinator for all size projects including large scale repair and new facility construction projects

? Assists with maintaining building security and immediately responds to building emergencies on a 24-hour basis

? Inspects buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair

? Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain the plant facility?s equipment to include but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair

? Cross train and serve as back up to Water Processing and Utilities technicians, includes boiler certification

? Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities

? Assists the Technical Resource in preparing the annual maintenance budget

? Solicits bids and quotes from vendors

? Order parts and maintain required documents within NCE and TPM standards

? Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

? Must be able to work flexible hours

Daily duties but are not limited to the following:

? Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of facilities equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of facilities equipment during machine service

? Performs minor maintenance tasks on factory?s boiler system

? Performs minor electrical maintenance (e.g. repairing/replacing fixtures, switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) and determining when a professional electrician is required

? Performs minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains) and determining when a professional plumber is required

? Performs minor painting, carpentry and masonry work (e.g. preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc.)

? Performs routine maintenance on HVAC and air handling systems (e.g. filter replacement, inspection, cleaning)

? Performs minor concrete and flooring repairs (e.g. replacement of carpet, tiling and patching of holes/cracks in factory floor, water processing/utilities, sidewalks and/or parking areas)

? Reconfigures, installs, positions, and remounts modular offices and space (e.g. furniture, wall panels, work surfaces, storage bins, lighting, file cabinets, etc.) to accommodate user needs and maximize office space using various hand, power and specialty tools, dollies and hand trucks

? Prepares the surfaces and paints various structures and equipment (e.g. walls, refrigerators, evaporative coolers, floors, roofs, doors, restroom facilities, etc.) to preserve wood and metal parts from corrosion and maintain a safe, comfortable working environment using various painting equipment and related tools (e.g. sprayers, rollers, brushes, thinners, etc.)

? Performs other work related duties as assigned

Key qualifications include:

? Internal applicant must be currently working as a mechanic

? Demonstrated maintenance & technical skills

o Mechanical

o Electrical

o Hydraulic

o Pneumatic

o PLC

? Demonstrated analytical problem solving skills

? Demonstrated continuous improvement methods

? Demonstrated SAP, Basic computer skills (Microsoft office)

? Demonstrated effective communication skills

? Willingness to work flexible shift?s depending on project/production requirements
